Rank Advancement

Posted on Mar 31 2015 - 11:50pm

Rank advancement is showing that you have suitable proficiency in the BSA requirements as they are spelled out in the BSA handbook and that you are ready for the next step. Requirements for rank advancement can be signed off by any scout in the Senior Patrol including troop guides, or any Scout leader. After the requirements for any particular rank have been signed the scout must request a Scout Master's Conference and a Board of review from the Scout Master and Committee Chair respectively. These conferences and boards of review take time so please plan to ask at least one meeting prior to when it is needed. We will attempt to accommodate all requests but we have other obligations within the troop as well.
